Connecting your YouTube channel

Connection steps

1. Open the More menu (☰) at the bottom of the left sidebar, click Settings, then expand Social Media Accounts
2. Find YouTube and click Connect
3. You'll be redirected to Google's OAuth consent screen
4. Sign in with the Google account that owns your YouTube channel
5. Review and approve the permissions
6. You'll be redirected back to ScoutSocial with your channel connected

Multiple channels

If your Google account manages multiple YouTube channels, ScoutSocial connects to the primary channel associated with the account. To manage a different channel, sign in with the Google account that owns that channel.

Troubleshooting

• "Access denied" - Ensure you're signing in with the correct Google account
• "Channel not found" - Your Google account must have an active YouTube channel
• Upload errors - Check that your channel is in good standing and not restricted
