Learn how to use ScoutSocial with LinkedIn to create, schedule, and publish professional content to your personal profile or company page.
LinkedIn on ScoutSocial
LinkedIn is a professional networking platform where you can share thought leadership, company updates, industry insights, and career content. ScoutSocial supports both personal profiles and company/organization pages, giving you full control over your LinkedIn presence.
What You Can Do
- Create and publish posts - Text, images, videos, documents, polls, and article links
- Schedule content - ScoutSocial schedules your posts and publishes them at the planned time
- Track analytics - Monitor impressions, clicks, reactions, comments, and follower growth
- Manage comments - Read and respond to engagement on your posts
- Multi-image posts - Publish posts with 2-20 images (organic posts only)
- Document sharing - Upload PDFs, PowerPoints, and Word documents directly
Account Types
ScoutSocial supports two types of LinkedIn accounts:
- Personal profile - Post as yourself to your connections and followers
- Organization page - Post as your company or brand. You must have an Administrator, Content Administrator, or Direct Sponsored Content Poster role on the page
Both can publish the full range of supported content. Analytics differ, though: LinkedIn gives apps much less data for a personal profile (only posts you publish through ScoutSocial are tracked, a follower count with no demographics, and no per-post video stats).
