Plan & Usage
The Plan & Usage page shows your subscription tier, AI Credits balance, resource quotas, plan limits, and included features.
How to open it:
- Settings > Workspace & Preferences > Plan & Usage
- The upgrade dialog or other upgrade prompts in the app (also available as a standalone page from those entry points)
Use Manage subscription on this page to change, downgrade, or cancel your plan when billing is enabled for your workspace.
AI Credits
Interactive AI usage is metered through a shared AI Credits pool (not separate monthly generation counters). Your balance appears at the top of Plan & Usage as a ring with remaining credits and a Top up option.

Subscription tiers
ScoutSocial offers four subscription tiers:

|---|---|
| Starter | Individuals or small teams getting started with social media automation |
| Professional | Growing teams that need more accounts, platforms, and AI capacity |
| Business | Organizations needing larger quotas and greater capacity across accounts, tracked brands, and AI usage |
| Enterprise | Large organizations with custom needs, maximum quotas, and full feature access |
Your current tier is displayed as a neutral badge at the top of the page.
Usage quotas
Quotas track workspace resources relative to your plan's limits. Progress bars change color based on usage:
- Green - Under 75% usage
- Muted gray - 75% to 89% usage
- Red - 90% or above (approaching or at your limit)
Common quota rows include:

| Social Accounts | Total connected social media accounts, across all platforms combined |
| Team Members | Seats in your workspace (shown on plans where the limit is meaningful) |
| Competitor Profiles | Competitor profiles tracked in Brand Tracker (when shown for your tier) |
| Content Sources | RSS feeds and other configured sources (when shown for your tier) |
Some quotas are hidden on certain tiers when they would not be actionable (for example, a single-seat Starter plan).
Plan limits
Fixed limits on your plan may include:

| AI Iterations per Run | Maximum revision loops per AI generation run |
| Concurrent Generations | Number of AI generations that can run simultaneously |
| Media Storage | Total storage for uploaded images and videos |
| Analytics History | How far back analytics data is retained |
A value of "Unlimited" means there is no cap for that limit on your plan.
Media storage
If you use Media Assets, a storage usage indicator shows how much of your allocated storage has been consumed, displayed in a human-readable format (MB, GB, or TB).
Upgrading your plan
If you are approaching your limits or need access to locked features, open the More menu (☰) at the bottom of the left sidebar and click Upgrade Plan (or use the prompt shown on a locked feature) to open the plan chooser and compare available tiers. When billing is enabled for your workspace, the Manage subscription button on this page opens the billing portal to change, downgrade, or cancel your plan.
Billing cycle
Your AI Credits cycle grant and other monthly quotas reset at the start of each billing cycle. The page shows your next reset date.
