Content Calendar

Visualize and manage your publishing schedule with a drag-and-drop calendar, weekly timeline, and day detail views.

What is the Content Calendar?

The Content Calendar gives you a visual overview of all your scheduled and published content. It displays your posts on a monthly grid or weekly timeline, supports drag-and-drop rescheduling, and highlights holidays so you can plan around key dates.

How to access it

Navigate to the Calendar page from the left sidebar. The calendar shares its data with My Posts, so any changes you make in one are reflected in the other.

Key functionality

Monthly view

The default view shows a full month grid. Each day cell displays content items color-coded by platform. Click any day to open a detail panel with all content scheduled for that date.

Weekly timeline view

Switch to the weekly view for a more detailed, hour-by-hour timeline of your upcoming content. This view is helpful when you have multiple posts scheduled on the same day and want to see their exact timing.

Filtering

Click the Filters button to reveal the filter controls. You can filter by connected account (rather than by platform toggle), by status (Scheduled or Posted), and by view (Month or Week). By default all accounts are shown.

Drag and drop rescheduling

Drag a content item from one day to another to reschedule it. When you drop it, a confirmation dialog appears where you can set the exact time for the new date. This makes it easy to shift content around without opening each item individually.

Undo

Accidentally moved something? Press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac) to undo the last reschedule operation. The calendar maintains an undo stack so you can reverse recent changes.

Day detail panel

Click on any day cell to open the day detail modal. This shows:

  • All content items for that day with their scheduled times
  • Platform icons and account labels
  • Quick actions to edit, reschedule, or view content details
  • Holiday indicators for that date

Publish preview

From the day detail panel, you can preview how a post will look before it goes live, giving you a final check on the content and formatting.

Holidays

The calendar displays holidays for the countries you choose. You pick these on first visit, and can change them anytime under Settings > Workspace & Preferences, in the Calendar section. Holiday markers appear on relevant dates so you can plan timely content or avoid posting on days when engagement may be lower.

Tips

  • Start in the monthly view to get a high-level sense of your content distribution, then switch to weekly when you need to fine-tune timing.
  • Use drag and drop to quickly rebalance your schedule if you notice too many posts clustered on one day.
  • Check holiday markers when planning content for the coming weeks - holidays can be great opportunities for themed posts.
  • The calendar syncs with My Posts in real time. Changes you make by scheduling content in My Posts will appear on the calendar immediately.
